Tire Different! High Profit in Retreading & Recycling.

Rover Research, Italy, developed a new line of industrial machines using his own WaterJet Technologies that implement retreading solutions for used tires (Truck, OTR), and recycling process for ELT, through innovative and patented methodologies, characterized by an excellent cost/quality ratio and a significant reduction in environmental impact.

No chemicals are used in the process.

The technology operates by subjecting tires to a high-pressure water jet (range 1,500/3,000 bar) with nanometric precision. This process causes water molecules to impact the sulfur atoms responsible for the bonds between rubber macromolecules with a force sufficient to break these bonds, devulcanizing the rubber.

Reduces the repair times significantly with a significant saving in raw materials (at least 30%), does not damage the steel wires and allows a millimetric and clean tire repair.

The Rover Research unique selling points (USPs) are: - The technology enables significant savings on energy, new rubber, manpower. - Thus enhancing profitability & sustainability also significantly.

Rover Research new technological platform allows for the "transformation/demolition of End-of-Life Tires (ELT)" for Truck & Bus – AeA, OTR and in the next future GIANT, that are no longer reconstructible. This enables the recovery of steel in radial tires and of rubber in the form of "devulcanized premium dust" patented and called “TireDust”, with innovative chemical-physical characteristics.

The “TireDust” powder, 100-300 mesh, beyond being suitable for reintegration into new compounds or in the 10-15% range in the "RR hot reconstruction" process, can be used in new areas of rubber material recovery.
