What moves the tyre industry? The latest study by THE TIRE COLOGNE provides answers.
As the leading platform for the tyre and wheel business, THE TIRE COLOGNE is an important driving force for the entire industry. The fair now underlines this claim with a current study on the most important challenges for tyre dealers in five European core markets.
"We see it as our task to create relevant content that offers our exhibitors and visitors genuine added value," emphasises Ingo Riedeberger, Director of the THE TIRE COLOGNE at Koelnmesse. "This is why we are conducting a well-founded study to identify the topics that move our industry the most. With the knowledge gained from this, we can provide valuable impulses. At the same time, we use the insights to gear our congress and event programme even more strongly to the needs of our customers".
THE TIRE COLOGNE conducted the study together with IFH Cologne. The tyre trade in Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France and Poland was asked about the relevance of topics such as digital marketing, data management in the workshop, personnel recruitment and employee training. It was found, for example, that for 83 percent of those surveyed in Germany digitisation is of great relevance for the development of their business. 82 percent report that they have problems finding qualified personnel - 61 percent were therefore unable to fill a position.
The complete results of the study will be presented at the international trade press conference of THE TIRE COLOGNE on October 10, 2019 and subsequently published on the website. Selected topics will be discussed in detail at the trade fair from 9 to 12 June 2020 in expert forums, industry talks and networking events. Stay tuned!
From 10 October you can find out more about the most important topics and developments for the tyre industry!
