THE TIRE COLOGNE: Three questions to Sven Müller, Schrader Performance Sensors

21 Aug 2017

Sven Müller, Sales Manager Aftermarket Europe, Schrader Performance Sensors

1. How is the current market situation in your industry?

All in all, our market situation is really positive. Similar to the tire and rim industry, as a manufacturer of tire pressure control systems we also benefit from a boom in the registration of new vehicles or circumstances as tightened regulations on the use of winter tires. Still, our market segment is very competitive – but anything else would be much less exciting.

2. How do you prepare your exhibition appearance?

We’re already busy preparing for TTC. As always, we’re planning a booth that is characterized by its very international approach – focused on the global aspects of our business and with a high number of staff from different countries. As the world market leader in our segment, we want to set benchmarks and keep our visitors and customers up to date on trends and innovations, so prepare for surprises.

3. What do you expect from THE TIRE COLOGNE?

First and foremost, we’re hoping for a very inspiring and much frequented trade show in the heart of Cologne. We look forward to good infrastructure and logistics as well as to a very nice atmosphere for both exhibitors and visitors in the city on the banks of the Rhine. In addition, we have very high expectations as to the organisation of the trade show and anticipate a record number of visitors, hopefully with both a strong regional and international share. The Tire Cologne has the best basis for becoming the industry’s leading trade show, thus offering many interesting chances and possibilities for exhibitors and visitors alike.
