THE TIRE COLOGNE: an enTIRE hall for the international retreading and recycling industry

The premiere of the trade show in May 2018 is approaching fast, and already now, THE TIRE COLOGNE, as the leading industry event, is setting a course for the future by giving the growing segments for tire remoulding and recycling and disposal of old tires an exclusive platform in hall 9. Among others, global market leaders Kraiburg, T.R.M. Srl Tyre Retreading Machinery, Rocket, VIPAL, Carl Zeiss and Salvadori will be represented.
Issue-specific events and dedicated spaces throughout the fairground complement the offer. Also for the first time, the “Global Retreading Conference” will take place in the context of THE TIRE COLOGNE in collaboration with the European Retreading Association BIPAVER. It’s the first congress to unite international experts from the industry in one single place. Partner associations and renowned specialists from South and North America, Europe, India and the Southeast Asian region will be on location in Cologne to present the participants with a unique global overview of the theme of retreading as well as with best practices, potentials and future developments.
The Global Retreading Conference will be taking place on May 29, 2018, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at Congress Center North, Rheinsaal. Admission is free, but you need to register beforehand.
Centrally located in the Retreading and Recycling segment in Hall 9, the "Recycling Forum" provides a complete overview of the decisive aspects in the field of tire recycling. In cooperation with the trade magazines "Retreading Business" and "Tyre & Rubber Recycling", THE TIRE Cologne is organising this special zone with an accompanying lecture programme on subjects such as recycling trends in the European market, market developments and technologies, full retreading, tire technologies and recycling, future challenges for the international tire industry and of course influences on the environment.
In addition, products made out of recycled tires will be on display – an impressive exhibition of the recycling industry’s innovative power.
Another expert platform is provided by the “Future Tire Conference”, highlighting tomorrow’s trends and developments. The top-class conference is organised by the US-American publishing company Crain, which publishes two leading international industry magazines, Tire Business and the European Rubber Journal, and which has additionally been successfully conducting theme-related conferences all over the world for many years.
The "Future Tire Conference" on 30 and 31 May 2018 focuses among others on the themes of "Efficient production sites and the growing demands of today and tomorrow" and "Old tire recycling.”
For the very first time, THE TIRE COLOGNE will taking place in Cologne from 29 May to 1 June 2018. It is being organised by Koelnmesse and the industry sponsor, the Bundesverband Reifenhandel and Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. (BRV/German Tire Retailers and Vulcanisation Trade Association). Already one year before its start, nineteen of the twenty highest-revenue companies from the current "Tire world ranking list" have confirmed their participation in Cologne since May 2017. The place to be for THE TIRE COLOGNE are the Northern Halls of Koelnmesse (halls 6 and7: tire manufacturers, wholesalers and rim manufacturers; hall 8: automotive services and workshop needs; hall 9: tire remoulding segment, recycling and disposal of old tires).
In addition to the exhibitor presentations, visitors can look forward to an extensive event programme where they can learn everything worth knowing about trends and new products and at the same time have manifold opportunities to establish new business contacts all over the globe.
