Sustainability – the tire industry’s megatrend

18 May 2022

Sustainability is a megatrend – and as such, finds itself in the exhibitors’ and the TIRE COLOGNE 2022’s top topics. After all, climate change and circular economy as well as eco- and resource-friendly tire production and disposal are challenges that need to be overcome by the industry.

Its relevance for THE TIRE COLOGNE is showcased by the prominent placement of the Boulevard of Sustainability in the central connection axis between all exhibition halls. Here focus islands depict the value chain of tires and present recent findings, innovative concepts, and concrete solutions for sustainable raw material extraction, tire production, and recycling.
