Successful kick-off: The European press conference of THE TIRE COLOGNE

Strong start: The kick-off event of THE TIRE COLOGNE took place on 21.11.2017. More than 50 international journalists participated the European press conference of the new leading trade show for the tire business at KölnSky in Cologne.

Host Gerald Böse, Chairman of the Executive Board of Koelnmesse, Ingo Riedeberger, Director of THE TIRE COLOGNE, Stephan Helm, Chairman of the German Tyre Trade Association (BRV - Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e. V.) and Prof. Dr. Stefan Bratzel, Director Center of Automotive Management, discussed current trends and challenges in the tire industry and presented the programme of the trade show, which will take place in Cologne for the first time in May 2018.

In any case, the manufacturers are already looking forward to the top industry event at the new location and state their expectations and how the THE TIRE COLOGNE benefits their target groups: The northern halls of Koelnmesse are not yet in order. But during a virtual flight, the participants of the press conference were able to familiarize themselves with the terrain and the hall layout.
