Do you have an ingenious idea that makes tires, wheels or rims even better, more durable or extra environmentally friendly? Have you developed a future-oriented retail concept or an innovative service? An intelligent solution for workshops, tire recycling or retreading? Then you should apply for one of the CREATIVITY AWARDS by THE TIRE COLOGNE.

The awards recognize innovations in the sectors of "Industry" and "Trade". The tire industry is characterised by a variety of challenges: in particular, digitisation, increasing environmental requirements and fierce competition. In order to succeed in this environment, creative ideas are needed in the areas of product development, service, sales and retail. Such innovations not only drive the success of companies, they also give new impetus to the entire industry and secure is future.

To honor outstanding best practice examples, the BRV (German Tyre Retail and Vulcanisation Trades Association), together with THE TIRE COLOGNE and other partners, has launched the CREATIVITY AWARD. The CREATIVE AWARD Industry is awarded by the BRV and THE TIRE COLOGNE, while the CREATIVITY AWARD Retail is aimed at tyre specialist, wholesalers, and concept developers as well as service partners and suppliers to the tire trade. The international tire manufacturer HANKOOK is the conceptual partner and exclusive sponsor for this award. The CREATIVITY AWARDS are awarded in the following areas:

  • INNOVATION OF THE YEAR - for the successful introduction of a product or service with a high degree of innovation
  • BEST GREEN IDEA - for sustainable concepts that are exemplary in terms of economy, eco-balance and social responsibility
  • BEST FUTURE IDEA - for a product or service that can serve future business areas or generate new demand.

The CREATIVITY AWARD will be awarded on the eve of the fair on May 28, 2018 and is endowed with a prize money totalling 12,000 Euros. The winners will also be published in press releases by the fair as well as in social media.

In addition, they can use the awards for advertising purposes to further sharpen their profile. All THE TIRE COLOGNE exhibitors can apply for the awards. Good luck!
