Looking back on the TIRE Fleet Day - powered by THE TIRE COLOGNE

The shortage of skilled personnel, digitisation and interface problems between system providers - these were the main topics of the first TIRE Fleet Day. Numerous fleet managers as well as renowned tyre manufacturers and dealers used the event for a lively exchange and made the TIRE Fleet Day on May 28 a complete success.

How can I optimise my vehicle fleet in view of rising cost pressure and increasing digitalisation? Where can innovative technology and new services reduce costs? How can I make tire management and breakdown service more efficient? Answers to these and many other questions were provided by the stimulating keynote speeches and workshops at the TIRE Fleet Day, which Koelnmesse organised together with ETM-Verlag and the Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk (BRV).

More than 90 trade visitors benefited from significant new insights and impulses for their business. The focus was on two topics in particular: increasing digitalisation and the resulting interface problems between the systems, as well as strategies to counter the shortage of skilled workers. They provided plenty of material for discussion and encouraged constructive cooperation. In a joint "trilogue", the participants worked out solutions to the challenges the industry is facing.

The result: a successful and informative event with valuable new findings for the entire tyre industry - and last but not least an excellent platform for exchange and business networking with important players.

This way, the outcomes and discussions of the TIRE Fleet Day provide the perfect basis for further deepening the subject of fleet management. As in 2018, the TIRE Fleet Lounge at THE TIRE COLOGNE 2020 will once again be a point of contact for the industry, building on the theme of the TIRE Fleet Day and providing interested parties with information on current challenges and opportunities.
