TIRE Fleet Lounge

Focus on fleet management

THE meeting point for fleet managers at THE TIRE COLOGNE: The TIRE Fleet Lounge for the first time offers a forum for the target group in the context of a tire trade fair, including lectures, talk panels and exciting networking opportunities.

Tires play an important role in the field of fleet management: Costs are a theme here. Downtimes need to be minimised when changing. The least possible roll resistance (and thus wear) should be harmonised with the greatest possible safety. That applies to truck fleets, for example, of forwarding businesses, just as much as for fleets of passenger vehicles, for example, in the company motor pool or for car sharing.

The Euro Transport Medien publishing house, publisher of the magazines FIRMENAUTO, trans aktuell, lastauto omnibus as well as eurotransport.de and firmenauto.de, will organise the lounge. There will be several theme days revolving around trucks, passenger vehicles and buses. Renowned experts will provide valuable insights and be available for discussions.

Use the opportunity to completely update your know-how, allow yourself to be inspired for your business and meet important industry players for networking.

Tuesday, 29 May, is focusing on the theme of truck tires: Which developments are there, where can costs be cut and how does perfect tire management work? Industry insiders, experts and users will provide the answers here.

Wednesday, 30 May, is dedicated to omnibus tires: Safety vs. costs, the fast breakdown service en route and urban environmental questions will be the main themes here.

On Thursday, 31 May, the attention is on car fleets. The tire market and the requirements on leasing with regards to the tires is the focus here. Furthermore, practical tips will be conveyed - by professionals for professionals.

On Friday, 1 June, the forum will come to a close with a podium discussion on the trends in the tire business. Manufacturers, the retail trade as well as associations and fleet managers will meet up here.
